Things I wish I could ask my mother...

Mother's Day is coming. Granted, it is still 2 weeks away but lately I find myself wishing I could ask my mother things. some things are random, everyday questions, while some leave me sleepless at night wanting to know the answers. here it goes:
1. How did you feel when your teenager started to hide things from you?
2. How did you feel when a precocious pre teen daughter started to tell you that maybe you weren't as cool as you thought you were?
3. how did you feel when you found that first gray hair?
4. How did you manage to keep a marriage together for 38 years, even though it could not have been easy at times?
5. How did you feel when you were told clinical trials were the only hope you had left?
6. How did you manage to always fry meatballs every Sunday without making a disastrous mess of your kitchen?
7. How did you not panic when you were told 30 cupcakes were due the following day for your daughter's 4th grade class...and it was 11pm.?
8. How did you feel when you witnessed your 3rd grandchild's entrance into a world that you knew you would soon be leaving?
9. How did you feel when your future could no longer hold plans, but only hold pain?
10. How did you decide to not say goodbye to your daughter , or tell her it would be okay and you were ready to leave a world of suffering?
11.How did you manage to put a little bit of you into each of my children when you were only in their lives for such a short time?
